Vehicle strikes, kills cyclist near SW 21st St and S Portland Ave

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A cyclist died Monday night in Oklahoma City after a vehicle struck them at a busy intersection, reports News 9.

The incident happened sometime before 10 p.m. at the intersection of Southwest 21st Street and South Portland Ave, which is just northeast of Stonebrook Village Mobile Home Park.

Police have not shared any details about the cause of the accident. They say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the collision.

Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased. A full investigation is underway.
