Vehicle strikes, kills man walking bike on US-377 near CR EW1120

SEMINOLE CO., OK – A 43-year-old man died Tuesday evening when a vehicle struck him and his bicycle along the highway near Keokuk Falls, reports KONCO 5.
The incident happened around 8:35 p.m. on the southbound side of US-377 near County Road EW1120, which is just north of the Seminole Nation Casino.
Police say the victim was walking his bike along the highway when a 2021 Ford Expedition hit him, and he died at the scene. Authorities identified the victim as Herbert Schuler.
The driver of the Ford went to the hospital with minor injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
