Woman critically injured in crash involving semi at Hefner and Meridian

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A three-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler critically injured one person on Thursday near Lake Hefner, reports KFOR News 4.
The incident happened around 6 a.m. at West Hefner Road and North Meridian Avenue, which is at the southeast corner of Bluff Creek Park.
Police say that two cars and a semi collided in the intersection and that a woman required extrication from her vehicle. Medics transported her to an area hospital with critical injuries.
It’s not yet clear if anyone else sustained injuries in the crash, and the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
