Woman Dead After Rear-End Truck Crash

A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle collision, a March 3 article of KTEN reported.
The accident took place in Interstate 35, around 9:30 AM Monday. Johnny Lee Spradlin was driving an 18-wheeler when it rear-ended an SUV, causing it to slam into the back of another tractor-trailer. 63-year-old Julia Kraus was pronounced dead and the scene while 71-year-old James Kraus was sent to OU Medical Center due to his injuries.
Police cited “inattention” on the part of Spradlin as the cause of the accident. Nevertheless, further investigations are ongoing.
