Woman facing arson charges in Tulsa fire that injured one

TULSA, OK – A woman is facing arson charges related to an apartment fire Sunday that injured one man and displaced nine people in Tulsa, according to KJRH.

The fire began before 7:40 a.m. near the intersection of East 11th Street and Highway 169 at an apartment complex.

The blaze led to the injury of one man, a resident, who was burned on the arm as he escaped the building.

According to investigators, the fire was intentionally started at multiple locations by a resident, allegedly Cassia Anderson, who was found carrying lighters with her.

Anderson is facing multiple charges including first-degree arson.

A total of nine people, including two children, were displaced in the fire and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
