Woman hospitalized after dog attack-turned-crash in SW OKC

SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman was sent to the hospital after a dog attack-turned-crash in Southwest Oklahoma City on Friday, News9 reports.
Oklahoma police said the incident occurred off the intersection of Southwest 52nd Street and South Western Avenue. There, the woman was attacked by several dogs.
The woman’s granddaughter saw what unfolded, went into her car, and planned to hit the dogs with her vehicle. In an attempt to stop the dog attack, she unintentionally crashed her car into her grandmother.
The woman was left in serious condition and sent to the emergency room for treatment.
