A woman was injured and traumatized after being bitten by a neighbor’s dog, a January 17 article of The Mountain Enterprise reported.

The incident happened in the morning of January 3. Belinda Woerter was badly bitten by a neighbor’s pet that looked like a “wolf hybrid dog”. Her daughter, Sara Woerter, was an animal welfare expert who flew home to help her mother. Belinda had to be hospitalized for three days. Also, her injuries required surgery and 14 staples to close. Worse, she was diagnosed with PTSD six days later.
