Woman injured when vehicle crashes into OKC eatery on S Shields

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman sustained injuries last Sunday when her vehicle crashed into a Braum’s restaurant in the Cloverleaf neighborhood, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident happened in the afternoon just north of I-240 at 7300 South Shields Boulevard. This is near the intersection with Southeast 71st Street.
Police say that a woman accidentally put her car in gear in the parking lot of the Braum’s, at which point the vehicle hit her before colliding with the restaurant.
It’s not clear if the woman required hospitalization for her injuries.
No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the crash, and the extent of the property damage caused by the crash is unknown.
The investigation is ongoing.
