Woman killed in car vs. semi crash on I-44 near Kellyville

CREEK CO., OK – A 44-year-old woman died last month in a two-vehicle accident along Turner Turnpike in east-central Creek County, reports Fox 23 News.

Emergency teams responded to the eastbound side of I-44 near mile marker 210 on Monday, January 13th. This is just north of Kellyville and about 22 miles southwest of Tulsa.

Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver of an eastbound vehicle veered out of the main lanes of Turner Turnpike and crashed into a parked 18-wheeler on the shoulder.

The driver of the passenger vehicle, identified as Amanda Allee of Oklahoma City, died at the scene.

Medics transported the truck driver to an area hospital with non-critical injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
