Woman killed in hit-and-run northeast of Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials in Oklahoma City are searching for the suspect responsible for an early morning hit-and-run that left one person dead early Friday morning.
KOCO reports that a pedestrian alerted a police officer to a body in the road near the intersection of Northeast 23rd Street and Martin Luther King Avenue at about 1:20 a.m. The body belonged to an unidentified woman who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the incident but have yet to release any information regarding the vehicle involved in the crash. We will continue to follow this developing story and provide any further information as it becomes available.
