Worker dies after being electrocuted by overhead line

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A tree crew worker in Oklahoma City was killed after being electrocuted Thursday evening.
According to KFOR, the incident took place sometime before 10 p.m. near the intersection of Northwest 12th Street and Roff Avenue.
Firefighters say the man was severely electrocuted while working near an overhead line. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending further investigation.
