Wrong-way crash on I-35 at E Britton in NE OKC injures 2

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A five-vehicle crash along the interstate in northeast Oklahoma City injured two people on Saturday, reports News 9.
The accident happened in the evening on I-35 at East Britton Road, which is southwest of River Oaks Golf Club and north of the junction with I-44.
Police say that a southbound driver lost control of their vehicle, crossed the median divider, and collided with four northbound vehicles.
Medics transported a total of two people to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined. The wrong-way driver claims to have lost control when another southbound driver “cut him off.” It’s not yet clear if the driver at fault will face charges.
A full investigation is underway.
