Wrong-way crash on OK-18 near E 1070 Rd in Meeker kills 2

MEEKER, OK – Two men died Thursday morning after a wrong-way collision along State Highway 18 in south-central Lincoln County, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident happened around 6:40 a.m. near the intersection with East 1070 Road, or Belmont Road, which is on the south side of Meeker.
The investigation indicates that a southbound 2015 Nissan Frontier veered into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a 2009 Toyota Corolla, killing the latter driver at the scene. Authorities identified him as 41-year-old Caleb J. Barbour
The driver of the Frontier, identified as 56-year-old Scott M. Howe, died after transport to a local hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
