Wrong-way crash on OK-20 near Jay kills 1, injures 3

DELAWARE CO., OK – A 65-year-old man died, and and three people sustained injuries Saturday in a wrong-way crash in central Delaware County, reports fourstates homepage.com.
The accident happened about 10 miles east of Jay on OK-20. This is around 100 miles northeast of Tulsa, near the Arkansas state line.
Police say that the driver of a northbound 2006 Ford F150 entered the southbound lane of OK-20 and collided head-on with a southbound vehicle.
The wrong-way driver, identified as William Douglas, died at the scene of the crash. Officials say that Douglas lost consciousness before losing control of his vehicle.
Medics transported an adult passenger from the pickup, the driver of the southbound vehicle, and a 2-year-old girl from the southbound vehicle to an area hospital in stable condition. All three of them sustained head injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
