Wrong-way crash on OK-9 near Tecumseh and Bethel Acres kills 2

POTTAWATOMIE CO., OK – A 44-year-old and a 19-year-old died Sunday after a wrong-way collision along the highway near Bethel Acres and Tecumseh, reports KFOR News 4.
The accident happened at night on OK-9 just south of Bethel Acres between OK-102 and US-177.
The investigation indicates that an eastbound 2003 Pontiac Grand Am entered the westbound lanes of traffic and collided head-on with a westbound 2010 Nissan Versa.
The driver of the Pontiac died after extrication and transport to a local hospital. Authorities identified her as Charlotte Zierke.
Medics worked to extricate the driver of the Nissan, identified as Juan Jeronimo, but he died at the scene of the accident.
A full investigation is underway.
