TULSA, OK – A male driver died Tuesday afternoon after his vehicle collided with a semi and a van along a busy Tulsa roadway, reports Fox 23 News.

The crash occurred around 2:15 p.m. on Southwest Boulevard near 51st Street, which is between I-244 and OK-344 in the Red Fork/Park Grove area.

Police say that a southbound driver, identified as 41-year-old Arthur Kratz, crossed into the northbound lane and collided with both an 18-wheeler and a van, the latter of which overturned.

Kratz was unrestrained at the time of the accident and required extrication. Medics took him to a local hospital, where he died form injuries sustained in the crash.

The driver of the van went to the hospital with arm injuries, and the truck driver was not hurt in the collision.
