Yamaha YZF-R6 rear-ends Nissan Quest in Claremore, killing 1

CLAREMORE, OK – One man died, and another sustained injuries Wednesday in a motorcycle collision in central Rogers County, reports KTUL News Channel 8.
The accident occurred in the evening at the intersection of East 450 Road and Russell Drive in far north Claremore, which is about 30 miles northeast of Tulsa.
Police say that a motorcyclist was likely speeding when his Yamaha YZF-R6 crashed into the rear of a Nissan Quest.
The biker, identified as 18-year-old Joseph G. Bethea, sustained fatal injuries.
Medics transported the driver of the Quest to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
Motorists likely experienced delays in the area of East 450 Road and Russell Drive while emergency crews worked at the scene.
