MIAMI, OK – A 68-year-old man went to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon after crashing his three-wheeled motorcycle along the highway in Miami.

According to Fox 23, the incident happened around 3 p.m. on the overpass of OK-10 near the Will Rogers Turnpike, which is just south of the Oklahoma Welcome Center.

The investigation thus far indicates that the motorcyclist lost control of his 2023 Can-Am Spyder Roadster on the eastbound side of the highway and crashed into a concrete barrier.

The force of the collision threw the man from his motorcycle, and he fell from the overpass, sustaining critical injuries.

Authorities have identified the motorcyclist as John McNeil from Miami.

The investigation is ongoing.
