1 hospitalized in 2-vehicle crash on SW 44th St near Woodward Ave

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Injuries have been reported in connection to a two-vehicle collision along a major roadway in southwest Oklahoma City, reports News on 6.

The accident happened Tuesday morning on the eastbound side of Southwest 44th Street near Woodward Avenue, which is just east of I-44 and west of Roosevelt Middle School.

There’s no word yet about what caused the wreck, nor have police shared any details about the nature of the crash impact.

Medics transported one person to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Drivers experienced delays along Southwest 44th Street when officials reduced traffic to one lane to accommodate emergency response teams.

A full investigation is underway.
