OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Medics transported the driver of an 18-wheeler to the hospital early Saturday morning after his truck overturned, reports KFOR News 4.

The incident happened around 1 a.m. near the intersection of Northwest 10th Street and North Rockwell Avenue, which is just south of Westoaks Village Shopping Center.

The cause of the wreck is still unknown. Officials say that the collision caused a power outage that impacted area street lights and approximately 3,000 OG&E customers. OG&E succeeded in restoring power later that morning.

The extent of the truck driver’s injuries is unclear at this time. A full investigation is underway.
