1 hurt in suspected DUI crash on Northwest Expy near NW Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A passenger was injured Tuesday morning in a single-car rollover collision near northwest Oklahoma City’s Windsor Lakes area, according to News 9 KWTV.

The accident occurred near the intersection of Northwest Expressway and West Wilshire Boulevard. It was first reported by News 9 at 5:46 a.m.

Details remain limited at this time, but Oklahoma Police said a vehicle carrying two people overturned twice.

The passenger suffered undisclosed injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

Authorities confirmed the driver was taken into custody for suspected intoxication. It was unclear whether the suspect was hurt in the crash.
