1 injured in collision on Broadway Ext near north Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — One person was hospitalized Monday morning after a vehicle crash on Broadway Extension in north Oklahoma City’s Broadway Park area, reports KFOR.

The accident happened along the northbound lanes at Northeast 122nd Street. Emergency crews responded to the scene at about 5:40 a.m.

Officials have not shared details on the circumstances behind the wreck, but one person was transported to a local hospital. The extent of the patient’s injuries has not been disclosed.

Sections of northbound Interstate 235 were blocked off, creating delays in the area. Commuters were asked to find alternate routes around the scene.
