1 injured when vehicle flees police, crashes into NW OKC home

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person sustained injuries Monday when a car fled from police and crashed into the front of a house in northwest Oklahoma City, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident happened in the morning in the Crestwood area near Northwest 17th Street and Villa Avenue.
Authorities say that a vehicle with two occupants evaded police at an attempted traffic stop, leading them on a chase that ended when the vehicle struck a home.
The occupants of the home were in a different part of the house when the accident happened.
One of the two suspects received medical attention at the scene before police took them into custody. The other suspect fled on foot but was apprehended a short time later.
Police have not shared any further information about the reason for the chase.
