1 killed in NE Seminole Co. crash on I-40 EB near MM 205

SEMINOLE CO., OK – A fatality has been reported in connection to a major accident along the interstate in northeast Seminole County on Thursday.
According to News 9, the crash occurred in the morning on the eastbound side of I-40 between NS 3600 Road and NS 362 Road. This is just northwest of Cromwell.
Thus far, police haven’t shared any details about the circumstances of the collision. There’s no word regarding the number of vehicles involved, and authorities haven’t released the name of the victim.
Video footage taken at the scene indicates that a box truck may have been involved.
Drivers experienced significant delays along I-40 eastbound Thursday morning while emergency crews worked to gather evidence and clear the scene.
