2 killed in solo crash with ejection on US-62 near Henryetta

OKMULGEE CO., OK – Two people died Thursday in a single-vehicle accident along the highway in south-central Okmulgee County, reports KTUL News 8.
The crash happened shortly after midnight along US-62 near Henryetta. Officials haven’t yet provided a cross-street for the wreck.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a westbound 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 veered off of the highway and collided with a tree.
The impact of the crash ejected an unrestrained passenger, while the driver became entrapped in the wreckage.
Both occupants ultimately died at the scene of the accident.
Authorities identified the victims as 24-year-old Austin Peavler and 32-year-old Dakota Baldwin.
A full investigation is underway.
