2-vehicle collision on OK-3 near E1870 Road injures 3

LANE, OK – Two people were airlifted to the hospital Sunday after a two-vehicle collision along a highway in southeastern Atoka County, reports KXII 12.
The incident happened sometime in the afternoon along OK-2 just east of E1870 Road in the city of Lane.
Police say that an eastbound truck collided with an SUV when the latter vehicle attempted to turn left out of the Dollar General parking lot.
The crash entrapped the 76-year-old driver of the SUV for around ten minutes. Following extrication, medics airlifted the driver of the SUV and a passenger to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The truck driver went to the hospital via ground ambulance with non-critical injuries.
