2-vehicle collision on US-412 WB near Westport and Mule Barn kills 1

PAWNEE CO., OK – A woman was killed Monday in a two-vehicle crash along the highway in west-central Pawnee County, reports KOCO News 5. 

The accident happened on the westbound side of US-412, somewhere near the city of Westport, which is about 23 miles northwest of Tulsa.

Police say that Aliyah Howard sustained fatal injuries when a Ford Edge struck her Jeep Cherokee. According to preliminary reports, the driver of the Ford was attempting to pass another car when the crash occurred.

Medics transported the other driver to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.

No charges have been announced at this time, but a full investigation is underway.
