2-vehicle crash at Covell Rd and Portland Ave in Edmond injures toddler

EDMOND, OK – A crash involving two vehicles in northwest Edmond injured an 18-month-old toddler on Sunday afternoon, report KFOR News 4. 

The accident happened around 3:3o p.m. at the intersection of 206th Street, or Covell Road, and Portland Avenue, or Highway 74.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash, and there’s no word yet on the severity of the child’s injuries. It’s also unknown if anyone else sustained injuries in the wreck.

Officials encouraged drivers to avoid the area of the crash while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
