2-vehicle crash at SW 89th and S McKinley in south OKC kills 1

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Police have reported a fatality in connection to a two-vehicle crash that happened Tuesday in south-central Oklahoma City, reports KOCO News 5.

The accident occurred shortly before 3 p.m. in the area of Southwest 89th Street and South McKinley Avenue. This is just northeast of Moore West Junior High School and south of Straka Detention Pond.

Authorities have not disclosed many details regarding the collision, nor have they disclosed the name of the deceased victim. There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the crash or the total number of people involved.

Motorists likely experienced delays near Southwest 89th and South McKinley Tuesday afternoon while emergency teams gathered evidence and worked at the scene.
