2-vehicle crash involving semi near Wynnewood kills 17-year-old girl

GARVIN CO., OK – A 17-year-old girl died on Monday in a two-vehicle accident involving a semi along the interstate near Wynnewood, reports KFOR News 4.
The incident happened around 3:17 p.m. on the southbound side of I-35. Authorities have not provided a cross-street at this time.
Police say that a vehicle and an 18-wheeler collided, killing a female passenger at the scene. The 18-year-old driver of the vehicle went to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
The driver of the semi was not hurt in the crash and did stop to render and and speak with authorities.
At this time, it’s unclear what caused the two vehicles to collided.
