2-vehicle crash kills motorcyclist on OK-20 near Jay

DELAWARE CO., OK – A 45-year-old man from Arkansas died on Monday when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle on the highway east of Jay, reports FourStates Homepage.

The incident happened around 1 p.m. on OK-20, about nine miles east of Jay.

Police say the motorcyclist lost control of his bike, crossed over the center line of the highway, and hit another vehicle.

The motorcyclist, identified as Tommy Ahrens, died at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the other vehicle did not sustain injuries in the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
