2-vehicle crash near OK-99 and EW 141 Rd kills 1, injures 1

SEMINOLE CO., OK – A 35-year-old man died, and another man sustained serious injuries Sunday in a major collision in west-central Seminole County, reports KOCO News 5.

The accident happened around 6:30 a.m. near the intersection of OK-99 and EW 141 Road. This is just east of Lake Konawa and about 75 miles southeast of Oklahoma City.

Police haven’t yet shared any details about the incident except to say that it involved two vehicles. There’s no word regarding the cause of the crash or the manner in which the two vehicles impacted.

One of the drivers, identified as Evan Jackson of Kellyville, died at the scene.

Medics airlifted the other driver, identified only as an 18-year-old, to an area hospital with critical injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
