2-vehicle crash on Hwy 33 near S 3470 Rd kills motorcyclist

PAYNE CO., OK – One person sustained fatal injuries Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash along the highway in south-central Payne County, reports KOCO News 5.

The accident happened sometime before 5:30 p.m. on Highway 33 near South 3470 Road, which is just west of Cushing.

Police say the collision involved a motorcycle and a dump truck. They’ve not yet determined the cause of the wreck.

The motorcyclist died at the scene of the crash. Authorities have not yet disclosed their identity to the public.

No other injuries have been referenced thus far in connection to the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
