4-vehicle crash on US-81 at Elder Ave in NW Duncan delays traffic

DUNCAN, OK – Emergency teams responded to a multi-vehicle crash along the highway in west-central Stephens County on Friday afternoon, reports Enid News & Eagle.
The accident happened just before 4 p.m. at the intersection of US-81 and Elder Avenue in northwest Duncan. This is about 82 miles southwest of Oklahoma City.
Police haven’t shared many details regarding the circumstances of the crash. They say it involved two pickup trucks and two cars. Photos taken at the scene show a white sedan with damage to the rear and a red sedan with substantial damage to both its rear and front ends.
There’s no word yet regarding injuries, nor do we know what caused the collision.
Officials diverted traffic off of US-81 and around the accident while crews worked to help the victims and clear the wreckage.
