Crews called after U-Haul truck hits bridge in downtown Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A driver in a large U-Haul truck struck a bridge Thursday afternoon in downtown Oklahoma City’s Bricktown area, reports NewsOn6.
The accident happened in the area of South East K Gaylord Boulevard and Reno Avenue, shortly before 4:30 p.m.
Officials have not disclosed the cause of the crash at this time, but the driver appeared to have been going eastbound on Reno Avenue when they hit a bridge support.
Multiple lanes of Reno Avenue were closed in both directions, but one westbound lane remained open for passing traffic.
As of this writing, no details regarding potential injuries have been shared.
