Driver crashes into NW Oklahoma City home, nearly hitting children

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Property damage was reported early Friday after a vehicle overturned and crashed into a residence in northwest Oklahoma City, according to KOCO.
The incident occurred near Northwest 21st Street and May Avenue, in the city’s Milam neighborhood.
Oklahoma City Police said a driver lost control of their car moments before it flipped and slammed into the front of the home. The vehicle landed on its roof, coming to rest in the living room of the house, where children were sleeping.
No one in the home was reported hurt.
The driver, who was able to self-extricate from the wreckage of the vehicle, was transported by medics to a local hospital with minor injuries.
