Cyclist hit, injured by DUI suspect on NW 12th St near NW Moore

CLEVELAND COUNTY, OK — One person was hospitalized late Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle near northwest Moore, according to KOCO.
The incident occurred in the area of Northwest 12th Street and Janeway Avenue, near Parmele Park, shortly before 10:00 p.m.
No details have been shared regarding the circumstances behind the crash, but crews rushed the cyclist to a local hospital in serious condition. The extent of the patient’s injuries remain unclear, but they are expected to recover.
Authorities said the driver was taken into custody after being suspected of driving under the influence.
