Cyclist hit, critically hurt by car on 21st St near SW Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Two people were injured, one critically, Wednesday morning when a driver struck a bicycle in southwest Oklahoma City, reports KOCO.
The collision occurred in the area of Southwest 21st Street and MacArthur Boulevard at around 6:00 a.m.
According to Oklahoma City Police, a car hit a bicyclist, and the impact of the crash threw the rider off the bike and into a nearby motorcyclist.
Officials said the cyclist suffered serious injuries and was listed in critical condition. The motorcyclist was transported to Mercy Hospital with undisclosed injuries, but is expected to recover.
The circumstances behind the crash remain unclear, but at this time, no pending charges or citations have been reported.
