Motorcyclist dies after multi-vehicle wreck on US-62 in Harrah

OKLAHOMA COUNTY, OK — A volunteer firefighter was identified as the man killed late Thursday when his motorcycle was involved in a crash on U.S. Highway 62 near Harrah, reports KOCO.
The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office said the fatal accident occurred at North Pottawatomie Road at around 7:45 p.m.
Little information has been disclosed at this time, but the OCSO said the victim appeared to have been racing his motorcycle when he was involved in a collision with a car and a pickup truck.
The rider died from his injuries at the scene, confirmed authorities.
The other drivers sustained only minor injuries, but it was unclear whether anyone had to be taken a hospital.
