Passenger dies after two-vehicle crash on Turner Turnpike in Chandler

LINCOLN COUNTY, OK — A 30-year-old man died early Saturday morning after a two-vehicle crash on the Turner Turnpike in Chandler, according to News On 6.
The fatal accident occurred on the eastbound lanes (Interstate 44) at mile marker 166, past Bellcow Creek.
No details have been released regarding the cause of the wreck, but a 17-year-old driver and a 29-year-old driver were involved.
Both the teen driver and her 30-year-old male passenger were transported to Stroud Regional Medical Center, where the man was pronounced deceased.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the teen, who suffered minor injuries, has since been released.
No injuries to the other driver were reported.
Officials have not shared further information at this time, but an investigation was in progress.
