Truck carrying 105 cattle overturns on I-44 in SW Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A rollover crash involving a full cattle hauler was reported Sunday morning on Interstate 44 in southwest Oklahoma City, reports FOX23.
The accident occurred on the northbound lanes at Southwest 59th Street, shortly after 10:30 a.m.
It was unclear what led up to the crash, but the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a semi-truck transporting 105 cattle rolled over.
Officials did not say whether the driver or any of the cattle were injured, but the animals were transferred into another semi following the crash.
Hazmat crews and environmental services were called to the scene to clear fuel from the roadway. Traffic was diverted from the scene.
