1 extricated after multi-vehicle collision in NW Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — At least one person was rescued from an overturned vehicle Monday afternoon after a multi-vehicle crash in northwest Oklahoma City, according to News On 6.
Oklahoma City Fire Department crews responded to the scene at the corner of Northwest 16th Street and North Meridian Avenue, near EB Jeffrey Park.
The circumstances behind the wreck have not been disclosed, but authorities said three vehicles were involved, causing one vehicle to roll onto its side.
Firefighters extricated at least one person from the wreckage, though no details on the patient’s condition have been shared.
Oklahoma City Police said one other person was hit in a ditch down the road from the crash, and News On 6 crews spotted another person in handcuffs, but it was unclear whether that incident is related.
A section of North Meridian Avenue from Northwest 13th Street and Northwest 16th Street was shut down during the response and investigation.
