Driver dies after rollover crash on E County Rd 1554th near Lindsay

GARVIN COUNTY, OK — A 46-year-old man died Monday morning after a rollover wreck near southeast Lindsay that left another person injured, reports FOX 25.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the fatal accident happened on East County Road 1554th about a mile southeast of the city, just before 8:00 a.m.
According to authorities, the man was behind the wheel of a car heading eastbound on the road, when, for reasons still unknown, the vehicle veered off the roadway and flipped at least once.
The male driver, who was ejected from the car, died from his injuries at the scene.
His passenger, 29, suffered “multiple injuries.” Medics transported the patient to OU Medical Center where his condition remains undisclosed. OHP troopers noted neither victim was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
An investigation remains underway.
