Crash on 161st W Ave near Lake Sahoma kills 3 teens

SAPULPA, OK – A 17-year-old girl and two 15-year-old boys died Wednesday afternoon when their vehicle crashed along a roadway in Sapulpa, reports KFOR News.
The incident happened around 3:40 p.m. on South 161st West Avenue near Lake Sahoma, which is southwest of Tulsa.
It’s still unclear what caused the 2013 Ford Focus to crash. Police say the 16-year-old male driver became pinned beneath the vehicle. Medics extricated him and transported him to the hospital with injuries to the head and torso.
The other three teen occupants were thrown from the car during the collision and died at the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
