3 killed when 2 semis collide on US-270 near Oakwood

DEWEY CO., TX – Two truck drivers and one passenger died after their trucks collided along the highway in Oakwood on Monday afternoon, reports KFOR News.
The incident happened around 2 p.m. on US-270 near OK-51, which is between Oakwood and Seiling.
Police say that a northbound 2016 International veered into the southbound lane and struck a 1999 Peterbilt semi-truck head on.
The force of the collision caused the Peterbilt to overturn and leave the roadway. The driver, identified as 39-year-old Martin Rodriguez-Rojo, died at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the International, identified as 29-year-old Kordan Sandridge, also died at the scene of the crash.
Medics airlifted a 21-year-old passenger from the International to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
