Shawnee hit-and-run collision kills 1 bicyclist, injures another

SHAWNEE, OK – One cyclist died, and another went to the hospital after a vehicle struck them at a Shawnee intersection before fleeing the scene, reports KFOR News.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Pool Place and Highway 3, or East Highland Street.
Authorities identified the deceased biker as Jason Hanks.
Medics transported the second biker, identified as Ronny Baker, to a local hospital.
Police believe the driver of a four-door Honda Accord is responsible for the collision. They say the car is missing a front bumper and grill.
