Multi-vehicle crash on Hwy 169 near 11th kills 2 in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – Two people died Monday afternoon in Tulsa in a collision involving multiple vehicles along the highway near Oakbrook Village.
According to News 9, the incident happened around 3:45 p.m. on the northbound side of Highway 169 near 11th Street, or U.S. Route 66.
Police have not shared any details regarding the accident aside from referencing the two fatalities. They have not yet released the names of the victims to the public.
Officials closed the northbound lanes of Highway 169 while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
