2-vehicle crash on OK-100 at CR-585 in Welling kills 1, hurts 3

WELLING, OK – A 34-year-old man died, and three people went to the hospital Sunday after an SUV and a truck collided on the highway in Welling.
According to Fox 23, the incident happened around 7 p.m. at OK-100 and County Road 585, which is just north of Barber Cemetery.
At this time, police have not commented on what might have caused the SUV and the truck to collide. They say that a passenger in the SUV, identified as Kyle Sam, died in the accident.
Medics airlifted the driver of the SUV to the hospital with injuries to the head, torso, and limbs.
A second passenger from the SUV went to the hospital with injuries, as did a passenger from the truck. The severity of their injuries is unknown at this time.
The driver of the truck was not hurt in the crash.
