Crash at S Yale and E 121st St S in Bixby kills teen, injures others

BIXBY, OK – A Tuesday collision at a busy intersection in northwest Bixby killed a 15-year-old Bixby High School sophomore, reports KTUL 8.
The accident occurred some time at night at the intersection of East 121st Street South and South Yale, which is in the Brittany Estates area, just east of the Arkansas River.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the cause of the accident, nor have they released information about the vehicle or vehicles that crashed.
Officials say that several high school students were involved in the collision. Medics transported the victim and others to a local hospital, where the victim later died. It’s unclear at this time how many teens may have sustained injuries.
