Two pickup trucks collide on Hwy 9 near Tecumseh, killing 2

POTTAWATOMIE CO., OK – Two people died on Friday afternoon in central Pottawatomie County from injuries sustained in a crash on Highway 9.
According to News 9, the incident happened around 12:08 p.m. on Highway 9, or US 270, about two miles east of Tecumseh.
Video footage at the scene indicates that two pickup trucks, one hauling a trailer, collided head-on along Highway 9.
Authorities have not yet specified the cause of the accident, nor have they released the identities of the victims.
Officials warned of delays in the area while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
